The Höfner HOF-4-2 is a handmade-in-Germany cello crafted from better-flamed European maple and select Alpine spruce. The tonewoods are carefully carved and finished with natural-resin varnish in an antique style. Its classic German tonal character offers a broad, deep sound with excellent projection.
The cello is set up with ebony pegs, an endpin, a Despiau “B” level Belgian-style bridge, and an Akusticus tailpiece. It comes fitted with Rondo A & D strings and Spirocore Tungsten G & C strings for a balanced and responsive playing experience.
