The Höfner Vintage Series Violin is a Guadagnini model based on a 1757 instrument by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini (1711–1786). Influenced by the Cremonese tradition while developing his own distinctive style, Guadagnini created remarkable instruments throughout his career in Piacenza, Milan, Parma, and Turin.
This violin features ebony Parisian-eye pegs and endbutton, a Despiau “A” level French bridge, an ebony tailpiece with E tuner, and a Guarneri-model ebony chinrest. It is fitted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold strings, including a silver G string and loop-end E string, for a refined and responsive playing experience.
