The Höfner HOF-11E Violin is a German-made instrument crafted with additional attention to the shaping of its arches and the graduation of its plates, allowing the makers to achieve a responsive acoustic character and a fuller tonal spectrum. Its attractive spruce and maple are showcased through a transparent ground coat and an antiqued orange-brown spirit varnish, giving the instrument a classic and refined appearance.
The HOF-11E is fitted with ebony Parisian-eye pegs and endbutton, a Despiau “B” level French bridge, and an ebony tailpiece with E tuner. A Guarneri-model ebony chinrest provides comfortable support, while Evah Pirazzi strings offer a rich and responsive playing experience.
