Core Symphony SM42 Double Bass
The Core Symphony SM42 is a concert-level 3/4-size double bass crafted for demanding performance settings. It features a well-seasoned spruce top and beautifully flamed maple back and sides, all fully carved from carefully aged tonewoods. An elegant antiqued finish highlights the natural character of the wood while adding a refined, traditional appearance.
Expert craftsmanship and carefully selected materials produce a well-balanced tonal response with excellent clarity and warmth, complemented by refinement and powerful projection. Versatile and expressive, the SM42 is suited for orchestral, solo, chamber, and other performance settings.
The bass is fitted with an endpin and a maple bridge with convenient height-adjusting wheels. It is professionally adjusted with Pirastro Obligato strings.
