The Bobelock 1017 is a timeless favorite among professional players and collectors. It's built with a five-layer plywood shell in the traditional British oblong shape, with an arched Hill-style top for excellent crush protection, and covered with a durable black nylon canvas zippered cover with an outside music pocket and a rain flap.

Inside, a semi-French fit velvet interior with suspension pads and a Velcro neck restraint cradles your violin and reduces vibration and movement. Four locking bow spinners hold your bows, with three pockets including a large accessory pocket, a string tube, an instrument blanket, and both a hygrometer and a humistat to monitor humidity. A deluxe latch, a leather handle and brass fittings give it a traditional finish, and a shoulder strap and subway strap come included, with an extra D-ring for backpack straps.
