Glasser Carbon Composite Acoustic-Electric 5-String Violin

The Glasser Carbon Composite Electric Violin is designed for players who want the familiar feel of a violin with the durability and versatility of modern composite construction. Its lightweight Carbon Composite body produces a clear, rich tonal response while providing excellent resistance to moisture, heat, impacts, and everyday wear.

At approximately 580 grams, the instrument is comfortable to handle and particularly well suited to musicians who perform in a variety of environments. Its durable construction makes it a practical choice for travel, outdoor performances, live events, rehearsals, orchestra pits, and other situations where a traditional wooden instrument may require additional care.

For amplified performance, the integrated Bartolini pickup system provides a strong, full sound suitable for both stage and studio use. The violin can also be played acoustically. Volume and tone controls are conveniently positioned on the instrument, with the volume control integrated into the chinrest and the treble control located on the tailpiece.

The instrument is fitted with Larsen strings, a D’Addario Helicore C string on the 5-string version, and planetary geared pegs for smooth, precise tuning. Five fine tuners provide additional tuning control.
