Carbon Composite Construction for Exceptional Durability

The Glasser Carbon Composite AEX 5-String Acoustic-Electric Violin combines a durable carbon composite body with versatile Bartolini electronics, offering the flexibility to play acoustically or amplified. Its lightweight composite construction is designed to withstand the demands of travel, outdoor performances, and everyday playing while providing excellent resistance to scratches, moisture, temperature changes, cracks, and open seams.

Five-String Versatility

The additional C string expands the instrument’s tonal range, giving players greater flexibility and access to lower notes while retaining the familiar feel and response of a violin. The instrument can be played acoustically or connected to the Glasser Swordtail active chinrest system for amplified performance.

The integrated Bartolini preamp provides reliable amplification and is powered by two AAA batteries.

AEX Pearlescent Finish

The AEX finish gives the Carbon Composite body a distinctive pearlescent appearance, combining the unique character of the carbon fiber construction with a vibrant, modern finish.

Quality Hardware & Setup

The violin comes equipped with Larsen strings and Planetary Geared Pegs for smooth, precise tuning. Five fine tuners are integrated into the tailpiece for convenient tuning adjustments.
