The Bobelock 1016 is built for safe, secure transport of 4/4 violins. Its short plywood shell has an arched top for superior strength, is only 26" long, and weighs just 6 lbs, which makes it a favorite of dealers, music schools and players who ship or send instruments by overnight express.
Inside, a velour interior with suspension holds your violin firmly in place. To keep the case compact for shipping, it has no interior pockets and no bow holders, so it's best for sending a violin on its own, and not for carrying bows and accessories. A metal-latched, carry-handle design makes it easy to handle, and you choose your interior color.
