The Aubert Lutherie Vuillaume Model embodies the elegance, character, and tonal power of the French violin-making tradition. Inspired by the legacy of Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume (1798–1875), one of the most celebrated French luthiers, this model pays tribute to the rich Mirecourt tradition that helped shape French lutherie.
The instrument features a hand-applied, medium red-golden traditional French spirit varnish, polished to a high luster to beautifully showcase the carefully selected tonewoods. Its medium voice offers a broad palette of tonal colors, with an even and balanced response across all registers. As the dynamics expand, the sound develops greater complexity while maintaining clarity, projection, and control.
Powerful projection, stability, and effortless playability reflect the quality of its construction and its roots in the classic French tradition.
Each violin is maker-adjusted and fitted with fine ebony fittings, a beautifully cut and precisely fitted Aubert Deluxe bridge, and Corelli Alliance Vivace strings. Every instrument also includes a Maker’s Certificate.
