The August F. Kohr K500BP is a fully carved double bass designed to deliver a balanced, resonant tone with strong projection. It features well-aged, plain maple back and sides paired with a carefully selected spruce top. The instrument offers an even tonal response with plenty of resonance throughout the range.
A rich, glossy orange-brown transparent finish enhances the natural character and beauty of the wood. The bass is fitted with a quality maple bridge with adjustable wheels and is professionally adjusted with D’Addario Helicore strings.
