The CC-OT is a complete package designed specifically for novice clawhammer players. It comes with everything needed to start playing Old Time banjo, including a gig bag, strap, Swift Clip tuner, Bob Carlin instructional DVD, and a 7th-fret fifth-string spike.
Built with a ½-inch multi-ply maple rim topped with a rolled brass tone ring, the CC-OT produces a warm, old-timey tone, further enhanced by its 11" Remo Fiberskyn head. The maple neck has a scooped rosewood fretboard for comfortable frailing, while classic design touches like the vintage-style armrest, No Knot tailpiece, and Fairbanks-style headstock give it traditional appeal. Professionally set up in Gold Tone’s Florida shop, the CC-OT is ready to play out of the box.
