The Gold Tone OB-150 delivers authentic pre-war banjo tone and design at an affordable price. Modeled after the legendary instruments of the early 20th century, this Bluegrass banjo features a 3-ply Canadian maple rim, one-piece flange, and a sand-cast 20-hole bell brass flathead tone ring—all key components in achieving that powerful, traditional sound.
Its maple neck with vintage-style pearloid inlays and smooth satin finish makes for a comfortable, professional-grade playing experience. Paired with GT Planetary tuners, a Gold Tone engraved armrest, and a Terminator tailpiece, this instrument is built for both tone and durability.
Professionally set up in Gold Tone’s Florida shop, the OB-150 comes ready to play right out of the box and includes a transferable lifetime warranty. A left-handed version is also available.
