The Gold Tone Mastertone OB-3RF Orange Blossom Twanger Banjo is a modern evolution of the legendary JD Crowe “Banger” banjo, expertly crafted in collaboration with Banjo Ben Clark, Jake Stogdill, and Robby Boone. This Radiused Fingerboard (RF) edition maintains all the iconic features of the OB-3 while offering a compound-radius fingerboard, providing smoother, more comfortable playability for modern Bluegrass and session players.

At its heart is the “No-Hole” flathead tone ring, delivering tight sustain, cutting projection, and the classic Bluegrass punch that has made the OB-3 a stage and studio favorite. Original prewar-inspired features—slanted resonator walls, concentric rings, Presto-style tailpiece, and pearloid “Leaves & Bows” inlay—give this banjo both timeless aesthetic appeal and professional-grade performance.
