The OB-250+TP represents the pinnacle of Gold Tone’s Orange Blossom series. The "plus" comes from the ultra-premium JLS #12 Bell Bronze tone ring, crafted in the USA by master caster Jim Stull after years of studying pre-WWII banjo tone rings. Its long-skirt design enhances energy transfer between the rim, neck, and tone ring, producing a rich, pre-war inspired Bluegrass tone with greater sustain and projection.
The TP upgrade adds a Made in America Companion Banjo Birch Block Rim, delivering even more power, clarity, and resonance than the traditional 3-ply rim. Together with its flamed maple resonator, curly maple neck, and hearts & flowers inlay, the OB-250+TP provides professional-level playability and tone. Includes a hard shell case. Available in left-handed model.
