The CC-50TR is an affordable, lightweight open-back banjo, designed with kids, students, and travelers in mind. Built on the same 11" pot assembly as the popular CC-50, this model features a short-scale neck with the first two frets removed, making it easier to play and perfectly sized for small hands or compact travel use.
It’s tuned one whole step above a standard banjo in A-scale (AEAC#E), though with medium gauge strings it can be easily tuned back down to the standard banjo tuning of GDGBD. With its rolled brass tone ring, maple construction, and factory setup in Florida, the CC-50TR provides quality tone and playability at a beginner-friendly price. A gig bag is included, and it is available as a left-handed model.
