The CB-100 is built specifically for clawhammer players, offering every key feature needed in a moderately priced, festival-ready banjo. It combines a maple vintage-style neck with a scooped rosewood fingerboard, a rolled brass rod tone ring, and an 11" Remo Renaissance head for warm, expressive tone.
Unique to the CB-100 is Gold Tone’s innovative dowel stick with hidden coordinator rod, allowing quick string action adjustments without compromising traditional old-time aesthetics. Add planetary tuners, a No Knot tailpiece, and pro setup at the Gold Tone Factory in Florida, and you’ve got a stage- and festival-ready open-back banjo.
