Introduced in 2016, the BG-150F combines the beauty and tone of pre-WWII banjos with a lightweight, player-friendly design at a more affordable price. It features the classic hearts-and-flowers inlay and a fully bound neck paired with a 14" resonator, reminiscent of Gold Tone’s higher-end BG-250F. The main difference is the installation of a quarter-inch rolled brass tone ring instead of the heavier bell brass ring, offering impressive tone with reduced weight for comfort during long performances.
Available as a left-handed model, the BG-150F delivers a balance of vintage styling, projection, and playability for serious Bluegrass musicians.
