Gold Tone BC-350: Bob Carlin Banjo with Case

The BC-350 was born from a collaboration between master banjoist Bob Carlin and Gold Tone president Wayne Rogers at the 2004 IBMA Fan Fest. Every detail reflects Bob Carlin’s personal specifications, refined through multiple visits to the Gold Tone workshop. This model features a 12-inch three-ply maple pot, rolled brass tone ring, and an innovative dowel-stick/coordinator rod system for enhanced tone and stability.

The maple neck is topped with a scooped ebony fingerboard for clawhammer style, while planetary tuners, a No Knot tailpiece, and a hot-dog armrest provide classic styling and comfort. All hardware is richly nickel-plated for long-lasting durability. Each instrument is set up by skilled hands in Florida and is also available in a left-handed version.
