The PBS-8 takes Gold Tone’s acclaimed Paul Beard Signature resonator design and expands it with eight strings, giving players new tonal possibilities and chordal textures. Built with a mahogany body and neck finished in a rich tobacco sunburst, it houses the legendary Paul Beard “open” soundwell, cone, and spider bridge, ensuring the same punch, projection, and tonal clarity as its six-string sibling. Designed for Bluegrass, Americana, and experimental steel-guitar stylings, the PBS-8 is rugged enough for honky-tonks yet refined for stage or studio. Includes a hard-shell case and is available in a left-handed version.
